HD Awareness Orange Inc.
We are a small group of individuals who have banded together to create awareness for those living with and those caring for people with Huntington's Disease. Each year we put on a number of events that you will find around Orange and the Central West.
HD Awareness Orange looks runs the 'Walk 4 Hope' Orange in accordance with the NSW/ACT HD Awareness Month (September) we also put on the Redhead Hunt 4 HD each year as a family friendly event to promote and create further awareness and all around a fun family day out!
Each year Huntington's NSW ACT has it's major fundraising event the Walk 4 Hope to raise much needed funds and awareness for Huntington's Disease in NSW ACT. Orange is the only regional walk in the state at present. We have families from Wellington, Dubbo, Orange, Bathurst, Cowra, Grenfell, Temora to name a few that attend the walk in hope to bring Huntington's Disease out of the shadows.
